Agriculturist in Sri Lanka

by Sunil Tennekoon
(Colombo, Sri Lanka)

I run a small farm in the western province of Sri Lanka and presently I have a few Jamunapari Goats, Pigs, Dairy Cattle, a German Shepherd Dog, a Rottweiler, Poultry for eggs and a few fancy Bantam chickens. Most of these Farm animals are raised as a hobby as I have a large Coconut plantation intercropped with Pineapple and Banana and also Cinnamon.
I am planning to start a hatchery to hatch my Bantam Eggs and maybe re-sell in the pet shops. So I am looking for a good Incubator for 50 Eggs. I read about the Australian portable product but I do not know how effective it is, so I might try to make my own Incubator and if someone can help me I will be very grateful. Sorry I do not have any pictures of my Farm Animals but I will upload some in the future.
From my childhood I have a great love for chickens and rearing them. Those days we used to get the assistance of a clucking hen (one that hatches eggs) but nowadays with modern technology it is easier to use a Incubator.
