Completed Shed and Bales Ready to Go!

Hi there.

We have been evolving our farmland for organic permaculture.

We a now are focused on plans to build a home and additional infrastructure. Considering straw bale construction is a top priority. Can anyone share the plans you've used for the building of your home? We would be interested and greatly appreciative for some more detailed insights from you! Thanks in advance.

MEG: WE SIMPLY PURCHASED A KIT FOR AN IMPLEMENT SHED (WITHOUT WALLS) THEN PUT IT UP, LAY IN A FLOOR AND PUT IN THE STRAWBALE WALLS, RENDERED WITH LIME PUTTY & BEACH SAND MIX. ADVANTAGE IS YOU HAVE A DRY PLACE TO STORE YOUR BALES, AND CAN TAKE YOUR TIME BUILDING. AS THE APEX OF OUR ROOF IS 6M FROM GROUND, WE HAD ROOM TO PUT IN A MEZZANINE FLOOR AT ONE END FOR OUR LIVING SPACE, WITH DORMER WINDOWS FOR ADDED HEAD SPACE.
