Great ideas to use Water Hyacinths!

Florida has problems with water hyacinths. We discovered that our chickens love them

when they were eating them from our koi pond. They grow so fast in the summer, I scoop out several everyday for my fifteen chickens. If the koi didn't eat all the roots, I rake them up and put them in the composter. I also put the whole plant in the composter when the pond starts getting too full.
