How Much Liquid Manure Should I Use on My Farm?

by Maureen
(New Zealand)

I am wanting to make liquid fertilizer from our chicken and Alapaca manures. We have 10 acres of x dairy land and run Dexter Cattle, Alpacas Sheep and Chickens. We get Balage made yearly (Balage is grass that is baled and wrapped soon after cutting, minimising the risk of loss through rain). This year we want to get hay as well off one of the paddocks (should give 60 bales approx). How much liquid "manure-tea" fertiliser should we put on each acre, how strong and how often?

I want to make the land more healthy so that it will help keep our animals healthy, with the topical applications of fertiliser.
