Keeping Thrushes From Eating the Blueberries?

by Sue
(Vancouver, Canada)

I am a part of a bird count group working with an urban farm. I am looking for ideas to keep thrushes from eating too much of the blueberry crop. Any ideas on this? Sue.

MEG: THERE ARE A FEW BIRD SCARERS OUT THERE... FROM PHONEY EAGLE KITES TO OLD CD'S AND WINE CASK BLADDERS HUNG FROM TREES... DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY EXPERIENCES - GOOD OR BAD - TO SHARE ON THIS?
