USA, Mississippi, Bolivar County, Marigold/Cleveland, $100,000

38 acres of Rich Mississippi Delta soil, some of the best in the world and 40 year old 1-3 acre glade with uncut trees, flowers and other plants. Deep well for irrigation.
I have allowed the land to be fallow for over three years, but have not taken further action to rehabilitate it. It lies adjacent to other large scale moncropping agribusinneses, and was rented by one for about 25 years before the 3-4 year fallow period.
However, when you take a walk down that road in Cleveland/Marigold MS, you can hear abundant nature sounds. It is not sterile, and there are no CAFO's that I know of, so no smells from overcrowded animals.
The soil is still very rich despite the conventional farming methods that were used until recently.
In town there is a blues museum, theatre, Delta State University.
A really beautiful piece of earth. My life is already set far up far away from this land once owned by my grandmother about ten years ago, but I would love to see this land rehabilitated and transformed and actually providing real food to real people.
If you love bees, flowers, fruits, veggies, trees and the Missippi River and would like to farm this plot of land in Bolivar County Mississippi, please let me know. I do prefer you use organic methods, but it is not important to me whether you are certified or not. I just don't want any GMO's, farm chemicals or pesticides. I do want a variety of different species, and varieties. And I do want the glade to continue in its current form.
I am also willing to consider a multi-year lease crop share lease if you prefer. I am very flexible on price, and willing to work with you on a payment plan.
