What breed of Chooks should I get?

Hello,

I live in Glen Forrest on a half acre block and my family (5 y & 2 and a half yr old girls) would love to have some chickens. I've been doing some research and I liked the sound of your cross breeds. Do u have photos of adults? I would let them graze on the block.Half of block is bush, rest gravel/dirt paths & gardens, (mainly natives).

I'm not keen on clipping wings & would like chooks that are not flighty, good with kids and are good egg layers. What would you suggest? I'm not wanting to rush into it but want to find the right kind of chooks for us.
